به گزارش سایت جامع علوم پزشکی پرتو ایران (WWW.PRIN.ir ) و به نقل از Medinews.com ، Vividi یک سیستم اولتراسوند قلبی – عروقی است که امکان تهیه تصاویر کامل و با کارایی فراوان در طراحی وزن نوری رافراهم می کند .با طراحی پرتابل و بدون سیم این سیستم 30 برابر سبکتر از سایر سیستم های مقیاس بزرگ و کامل است .
Ganesh Prasad ، مدیر ارشد سیستمهای بالینی می گوید : Vividi یکی از مشکلات بزرگ پزشکان یعنی دسترسی کامل و بهنگام به اطلاعات را به چالش کشیده است. پزشکان به ما می گویند در آینده این سیستم به یک استتسکوپ قابل مشاهده تبدیل خواهد شد . اهمیت بالینی این سیستم با بیان این حقیقت بهتر بیان خواهد شد کهGE از زمان معرفی این سیستم، بیش از 1000 سیستم را فروخته است . آقای Prasad می گوید : نگاه آینده ما ساخت مدل جدید با تمرکز بر تشخیص سریع و آشکار سازی بیماری در مرحله پیش آگهی و پیش گیری بیماری است .

A new cardiovascular ultrasound system is reshaping the future of echo ultrasound examinations. Cardiologists worldwide have found that the performance, mobility, and miniaturization of this system enable access to high-quality echo exam quality for patients in remote areas who are, in some cases, miles away from any healthcare facility.
The Vivid i system and its breakthrough cardiac applications, developed by GE Healthcare (Chalfont St. Giles, UK), were presented at the Cardiological Society of India?s annual conference in New Delhi in January 2007.
Vivid i is a cardiovascular ultrasound system that provides high-performance, full-featured imaging in a lightweight design. With a portable and wireless design it weighs 30 times less than other full-featured, larger-scale systems.
?Vivid i addresses one of the biggest challenges physicians face in caring for their patients, which is access to complete, real-time information,? said Ganesh Prasad, vice president, Clinical Systems, GE Healthcare. ?Our clinicians tell us it has become the visual stethoscope of the future,? he added.
